Security first , Pathways to work second , many disabled and chronically ill people are quite rightly focused in preserving(and hopefully improving their conditions. This requires effort , as a support group member my Full Full time jobs is quite literally looking after myself their is no capacity for any other work focused activity. it is also very difficult to see these initiatives as anything other than a pathway to remove benefits/support with the push towards a minor level of activity which is not self supporting but sufficient under regukation to move a client from support to non support and from there to non qualifying. There is also the very real threat of becoming
